All data comes from the Lichess open database. We've analyzed 6 billion rated games from 22 million players spanning 2013-2026.
The database is current through January 2026. We update monthly as Lichess releases new game data.
Not all players are connected through victories. About 71% of random player pairs have a directed path. If no path exists, it means there's no chain of wins linking them.
